During a visit to Mrs Aloba by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Entertainment Economy, Elisha Abbo, and Nollywood actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo, the mother of the late singer, expressed her concern over the influence Naira Marley has on the youth and the negative impact of his music on society. She urged the Senate to take action and ensure that the singer is arrested and held accountable for his actions.
Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Fashola, is a controversial Nigerian musician known for his explicit lyrics and controversial lifestyle. He has been involved in several legal issues in the past, including a case of alleged internet fraud.

“My son was always beaten. Even he was mentioning Sam Larry, l don’t know them. They enslaved my son.
“He was always telling me to guide him so he would not be killed, these were all he was saying until they finally killed him. Please help me.”
