Mohbad: Police give another update on his autopsy

The Lagos State Police Command has issued an update regarding the ongoing autopsy of the late Nigerian musician known as Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that the autopsy was conducted by highly skilled forensic pathologists in the country. In a post on his verified social media account, the spokesperson for the command disclosed that the late singer's family members were present during the autopsy.

Furthermore, the PPRO dispelled any rumors suggesting that the process might be manipulated by unscrupulous individuals seeking to hinder justice for the deceased musician. He urged the Nigerian public to remain patient as they await the results of the autopsy.

He wrote, “As assured by the CP, the autopsy was promptly carried out by some of the best forensic pathologists in the country, in the presence of family members.

“While we await the result, we urge everyone to remain calm and confident in the process.

“There is absolutely no underhand dealing, as feared by some concerned persons. In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing well.”
