According to Arsenal legend Ian Wright, Chelsea is facing two crucial matches against Fulham and Burnley that could determine the fate of their manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino took charge of Chelsea this summer with the objective of reviving the team's performance following a disappointing 12th-place finish in the previous Premier League season.

Unfortunately, Pochettino has encountered difficulties this season, making the upcoming matches against Fulham and Burnley crucial for his future at the club.

Pochettino's squad has struggled in the Premier League this season, with only one win in their first six matches. Their latest game ended in a disappointing 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at home.

Looking forward, Chelsea has upcoming matches against Fulham on October 2 and Burnley on October 7. Wright highlights the importance of winning these games for the west London club and raises concerns about Pochettino's future.

“You look at those [next 10 fixtures], a derby against Fulham and then Burnley, those are must-win games,” Wright said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.

“You would worry for them [if they lose the next two]. You look at Chelsea and you think something is going to have to give soon. I think it is the next two games. If they don’t do it, you have to start worrying for Pochettino.”
