The presidency has extended its congratulations to the renowned Afrobeats artist, Rema, for his victory at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).

Rema secured the 'Best Afrobeats' category at the 2023 MTV award ceremony held in New Jersey, USA, as reported by our source. His winning entry was the collaborative hit song 'Calm Down,' featuring Selena Gomez, the American singer, in 2022.

In an official statement released on Thursday, the presidency celebrated Rema's exceptional global talent and acknowledged his achievement at the prestigious award ceremony.
