Nigerian singer and rapper Naira Marley has broken his silence for the first time following the tragic death of Mohbad on Tuesday. Mohbad's passing occurred amidst controversy, and he was laid to rest on Wednesday in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
In a statement shared on his Instagram account on Friday, Naira Marley expressed his profound sorrow over Mohbad's death, emphasizing that Mohbad would be deeply missed. The head of Marlian Record label acknowledged that, despite their disagreements, they had never harbored any ill intentions towards Mohbad.
Naira Marley also extended his condolences to Mohbad's family while calling for a thorough investigation into the 27-year-old's untimely demise.
