The late musician and rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, has made history with his posthumous extended play (EP) titled 'Blessed.' It has become the first EP to secure the number one position on the Spotify Nigeria weekly albums chart.
This remarkable achievement comes after the 'Imole' crooner's EP claimed the top spot on this week's album chart. Mohbad's music continues to thrive on various streaming platforms in Nigeria since his untimely demise on September 12, 2023.
Notably, several of his tracks, such as 'Peace,' 'Feel Good,' 'Ask About Me,' and 'Beast and Peace,' have earned positions among the top 10 songs on Apple Music Nigeria. Additionally, his single 'Ask About Me' soared to the peak of the Spotify Nigeria singles chart.
Remarkably, Mohbad's EP, 'Blessed,' even secured a place in the top 20 on the UK Apple Music albums chart.
