Renowned musician Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, attributes the significant emigration from Nigeria to the nation's inadequate governance. As per our sources, Nigeria grapples with a brain drain issue, with numerous young professionals relocating to Europe and North America for better opportunities.
In a tweet accompanying a viral video of hopeful visa applicants at the UK Visa Application Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, Charly Boy expressed concern about the ongoing brain drain phenomenon affecting the country.
He captioned the video, “UK Visa Application Centre (TSL) Ikeja Lagos yesterday.
“The best of our young workforce is leaving dis refugee camp.
“How we have allowed the worst of us to lead the best of us.”
