Tiktoker who accused Eniola Badmus of prostitution sentenced to prison

Recall the young lady Tiktoker, Okoye Blessing Nwakego, better known as Ego, arrested for accusing actress Eniola Badmus of pimping girls to top politicians in Nigeria, has been sentenced to prison.

Nollywood Times reported that Ego was arrested in July after posting a viral video where she accused the actress and said many unprintable things about the actress.

On Wednesday, Ego was sentenced to three years imprisonment by a Federal High Court in Lagos with the option of a fine of N150,000.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo convicted the Tiktoker after she pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of cyberstalking.

It was alleged that Ego and one Chimabia, now at large, conspired to commit the offence between December 2022 and July 2023 in Lagos. It added that the offence contravened sections 24 (1) (b), (2) (a) (c), and 27 of the Cybercrimes Act, 2015.
