After completing his medicals, Sadio Mane, the Senegalese forward, officially moves from Bayern Munich to the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr. With that move, Mane will now play alongside the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
While at Bayern Munich, where he spent only one season, Mane faced challenges after his move from Liverpool. He managed to score only 12 goals in 38 games during an underwhelming season.
The transfer comes after reports of a physical altercation between Mane and Leroy Sane in the Manchester City dressing room following a Champions League game in April.
Bayern was able to recover most of the £35 million they paid Liverpool for Mane a year ago.
With the move the Al-Nassr, many are looking forward to seeing him pair with Ronaldo to give other clubs a run for their money. He was received with a warm welcome by Al-Nassr and his players, including Ronaldo, Talisca, and the rest.
He gave his first speech with his teammates he said, their target is to win everything with the team and say what a team they have.
