‘The actress I loved most’ – Pete Edochie reveals

During a recent conversation with renowned media personality Chude Jideonwo, the legendary Nollywood actor Pete Edochie openly shared his deep admiration for Genevieve Nnaji, affectionately declaring her as his most cherished on-screen daughter.

Edochie is a grand father in the Nollywood industry.

“Of all the girls that have played my daughters in movies, Genevieve [Nnaji] is the one I love most. I look at her as my daughter, and she took me as her father. And she is a brilliant lady, an exceptionally brilliant lady,” Edochie asserts.

According Edochie, despite his efforts to reach out and check on her well-being, he expressed that he had not received any recent communication from her. Concerned about the news of her being in a state of distress, he attempted to contact her, but unfortunately, she did not respond to his calls. 

As a result of this lack of response, he made a solemn promise to himself that he would refrain from attempting to contact her in the future..
