How I auditioned for Big Brother Naija five times before Cook-a-thorn – Hilda Baci

Renowned chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, has opened up about her persistent attempts to participate in the Big Brother Naija reality show, revealing that she auditioned for the show on five separate occasions but was not selected.

During her appearance on Cool FM Nigeria's program, "The Big Friday Show," which is hosted by reality star Tacha, Hilda Baci disclosed her aspirations to gain fame by participating in the reality show before launching her cooking challenge.

She said, “I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times.

Hilda Baci explained that while she was planning the concept of her cooking challenge, the idea of participating in Big Brother Naija was still in consideration. Her intention was to join the reality show, gain recognition, and subsequently embark on her cook-a-thon project.

Recall that Guinness World Records officially recognized Hilda Baci as the individual who set the record for the longest cooking marathon.
