2023 WWC: We are confident, we will discover a strategy to defeat the Super Falcons - England coach, Wiegman

Sarina Wiegman, the head coach of the England women's national team, has expressed her intention to capitalize on the weaknesses of the Super Falcons in their last-16 match at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Wiegman's team successfully navigated through the group stage, emerging victorious in all three games.

The European champions showcased their prowess by scoring eight goals and only conceding once.

The upcoming match between the Super Falcons and the Lionesses is expected to be the toughest challenge for the latter in the competition thus far. Wiegman has suggested the significance of analyzing the Nigerian team and devising strategies to halt their progress. 

“We are going to study how the Nigerian team plays, take out their strengths and exploit their weaknesses,” the stated.

The encounter between the two teams is scheduled to take place at Lang Park in Brisbane on Monday.
