Family is the strongest bond that a person could find himself. The Kuti family has demonstrated how united a family they are. This has been demonstrated earlier by Motunrayo, Seun's sister.

However, the icing on the cake moment was when Grammy-nominated afrobeat artiste, Femi Kuti, declared that the entire Kuti Family are solidly behind Seun. He added that they are in expectant of positive results at the end of the whole ordeal.

Femi also said his younger brother, Seun Kuti was supposed to be on tour currently but was detained days before he started. Femi stated this on Friday at one of his tours in France.

He said his case was being handled by “one of the best lawyers.”

Femi said, “Just before we embark on this tour, my brother Seun got arrested. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it because it’s in court…But I want you all to know that we have one of the best lawyers. The family is solidly behind him (Seun Kuti) and we do hope for a positive result at the end of the day. He is supposed to be on tour. And then the bail was granted but they extended the detention.”

He added that he is doing all within his power to make sure Seun is released soon.
