Seun Kuti’s sister, Motunrayo backs his brother for slapping the police

When they said blood is thicker than water, it's not a joke. The embattled singer, Seun Kuti has his sister Motunrayo, defend him for assaulting the police officer in the viral video. Motunrayo said Seun did no wrong in his action against the officer.

Motunrayo reacting to the video insisted that Seun was innocent. She said, “I don’t know why people are annoyed that I’m supporting my brother. You people are supporting the police, so I should follow you and support the police or what?

“I don’t think my brother is wrong. My brother is not wrong. Nobody gets up and just slap somebody without any altercation.”

She added that police brutality wasn’t new to her family, stressing that they are not afraid.
