Davido jubiliates as Supreme Court upholds Adeleke’s election victory

Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, aka Davido expresses his joy and excitement following his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke's victory at the Supreme Court today.

The apex court on Tuesday upheld Adeleke’s victory in the July 12, 2022 governorship election in Osun State.

Reacting to the judgement via his Twitter handle, an elated Davido wrote, “We go Dey shock dem like high tension!! @AAdeleke_01.”

It was reported earlier that Davido had taken to social media to seek God’s intervention in the court ruling.

Hours before the judgment was delivered, Senator Adeleke wrote, “God is going to win today.”

Davido replied, “Amen unc. we got this!”
