For the curious fans who have been wanting  to know why popular Nigerian musician, Chidimma Ekile stopped singing secular music will find this news interesting. This is because the singer has finally revealed why she made the decision.

Recall that in 2010, Chidinma burst into the limelight after winning Project Fame of the year. She said after the win she felt empty.

She had announced in 2021 that she had become a Minister of God and vowed never to return to secular music.

In a YouTube video she posted on Wednesday, the ‘Kedike’ crooner said the emptiness made her reconnect with her source (God).

“I was looking for my fulfilment but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source,” she added.
