After her role in the popular Netflix movie, Shanty Town, the popular Nigerian actress and media personality Nancy Isime's time seems to come. The movie actually pushed her out more to the limelight and her career unfolding. She has been seen as a sex symbol of Nollywood after her role in Shanty Town, a statement she disapproved of.
Fast forward to today, she has been conferred with an honorary Doctorate in Arts and Philosophy by Prowress University Delaware, USA. Nancy took to her Instagram page recently to announce the good news to her fans.
She also revealed that she was awarded the Leadtime Africa Leadership Prize for Quality Service Delivery and Professionalism. She said she is overwhelmed by the honours.
She wrote: “Yesterday, I was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Arts and Philosophy by Prowress University Delaware, USA in conjunction with Leadtimes Africa Magazine.”
While congratulating her fellow awardees, she prayed to God to grant every one of them wisdom and strength to continually excel and be good examples in their respective fields and careers.
