More reactions trailing the result of Saturday's election as Veteran Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo has added her voice over the declaration of Bola Tinubu as winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Uche said she was alarmed that despite video and picture evidence of alleged fraud and electoral malpractices across the country, INEC still went ahead with the process.
There have been calls for the cancellation of the 2023 presidential election over an alleged wide range of rigging and suppression of the true will of the people by governors and politicians across the country.
However, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, in the early hours of Wednesday declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Tinubu, the winner of the polls.
Uche Jombo took to her Twitter handle to air her view:
“When some people say ‘my vote doesn’t count ‘ this is what they mean. Truly alarming with videos and pictures in polling units across Nigeria we still got here”
“This shouldn’t discourage ANYONE. A New Nigeria is possible as we can clearly see.”
Tinubu was handed his Certificate of Return by the INEC on Wednesday.
