Renowned Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo was supposed to have his 61st birthday celebration yesterday, but the veteran refused to celebrate. Well, according to him, the reason for the action was due to the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
Reacting, Kanayo, who is a strong supporter of LP’s presidential candidate Peter Obi and has been enthusiastic about the Obidients movement, took to his Instagram page to share a video of him apologizing to Nigerians over his promise to them about INEC conducting a free and fair election.
Kanayo urged Obidients to avoid protests due to the possibility of violence.
The Actor added that he has no plans of celebrating his 61st birthday because the “heart of Nigeria is bleeding”.
