The scarcity of cash in the country is beginning to lead to serious behavioural change in Nigerians. Yesterday while customers queued at a commercial bank branch (Fidelity bank), a fight broke out between two grown men over collecting the new naira notes.
The trending video, shared across different social media platforms, captured the moment two hefty started exchanging punches. Immediately both picked up a crowd control stanchion barrier pole each and began wielding them with the aim of injuring one another over a disagreement.
It is, however, unclear how the fight started between them, but the scarcity of the new Naira notes has really set many on edge.
The duo were seen trying to hit one another without hesitation while the staff of the bank and other customers maintained their distance to avoid being hit.
