Rihanna is not new in the music/entertainment industry; she is a veteran. However, she seems to have taken a break from music for some years now. She was in the news in May after she had a son for rapper ASAP Rocky. Today, Riri makes a comeback with the single “Lift Me Up,” one of the soundtracks for Marvel Studio’s Black Panther sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.

She announced this via her Twitter page on Wednesday. Marvel Studios also tweeted a video of the movie’s logo, with the letter “R”, much like the one Rihanna posted, moving out and glistening.

The single would be the billionaire’s first song since featuring in N.E.R.D’s “Lemon” song in 2017, her solo single “Love on the brain” in 2016 and her last album titled “Anti” in 2016.

Riri is also billed to perform at the coveted Super Bowl halftime show in February. This news was greeted with excitement and anticipation from fans diligently waiting for a musical body of work from the artiste.

While she was on break from the music scene, Rihanna took the beauty world by storm. She started with her Fenty Beauty inclusive foundation that debuted with 40 shades, which then evolved into a more diverse makeup brand, her Savage X Fenty lingerie line, and skincare.

Rihanna was declared a billionaire by Forbes in August 2022, with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion.
