Campaign Advisers: Atiku snubs Wike, appoints Saraki, Anyim, Shekarau, others

As we look forward to the 2020 election campaign on Wednesday, the PDP crisis might not end soon as the party’s flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, appoints some key figures as his Special Advisers to help consolidate his presidential campaign team. The ex-Vice President made some notable appointments that, to his knowledge, are game changers. 

These are the appointees of Atiku whose appointment will take immediate effect include:

• Special Envoy to the presidential candidate - Former Senate President, Dr. BukolaSaraki 

• Special Adviser - Senator Pius Anyim

• Special Advisers to the candidate - Former governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and Senator Ehigie Uzamere.

• Technical Adviser to the presidential candidate - Former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus

Atiku Abubakar urged the appointees to bring their extensive political experiences to bear to ensure the PDP presidential campaign records resounding success in the 2023 election.

Shockingly, the list has neglected the man in the eye of the PDP storm, Governor Wike. Events in the Peoples Democratic Party will take an exciting turn in the coming week.
