The recently released 422-member APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) was received with shock and disbelief that some members were conspicuously missing from the list. However, protest has followed the list, but the party has come out to say no name was omitted from the list.
A spokesperson for the council, Bayo Onanuga, said on Monday in Abuja, “No name is left out of the lists.”

According to him, the list contained only the directors, deputy directors, secretaries of directorates, and other key stakeholders.
“Some of the nominees of our governors have emerged as part of the leadership, while others will soon emerge as members of the various directories,” he said.

Recall that leaders and stakeholders of the APC from Kwara South had protested the alleged exclusion of zone members from the lengthy list.
Similarly, the APC in Ghana had also faulted the party’s list, insisting that it should include a member from each diaspora chapter.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who also contested the presidential primaries alongside the party’s flag bearer, Bola Tinubu, was not included in the list.
