Nollywood Times reported that the ruling of the N6.3bn corruption case against the ex-governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang, was set for today. However, news reaching us has it that the Plateau State High Court, which sat in Jos, has discharged and acquitted the embattled ex-Governor over the N6.3 billion corruption charges levelled against him by the EFCC.
Justice Christy Dabup, who presided over the court, also discharged and acquitted a former cashier in the office of the Secretary to the Plateau state government, Yusuf Pam, who was accused alongside the former governor.
