All hail the ‘content kings’ - Comedian Sabinus, Pretty Mike, others get crowned

Comedy skits seem to be the way to go today, and a whole lot of stars are emerging from comedy skits. Recently an event was put up to award some talented comedians and content creators. The event occurred at a nightclub called Secret Palace in Lekki, Lagos, where some social media personalities were crowned ‘content kings.’

On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, the event was hosted and attended by some of the country’s most popular skit makers and content creators.

Some of the content creators crowned include Adesokan Emmanuel, aka Shank Comics; Chukwuebuka Amuzie (Brain Jotter); Nasiru Lawal, aka Nasboi; and Mike Nwogu (Pretty Mike).

The night was not devoid of music as fast-rising singer Alexander Adelabu, aka Magixx, was there to delight the audience with some of his hit songs, such as ‘All Over.”

Expectedly when some of the content makers were crowned, they created memories and fun moments to brighten up the night. When Pretty Mike was to receive his ‘crown,’ he came to the stage with a parade of ladies. While Brain Jotter asked the audience to call him ‘Igwe.’ However, when Sabinus was to receive his crown, he joked by promising to support the venue with N15bn, claiming to be an investor, a name he calls himself in some of his skits.
