The Nigerian music veteran met his wife, Lady Dianne, in 1974 in her salon in Boston, U.S. Lady Dianne is an American, and Charly boy visited her salon to have his hair made.

Charly Boy was previously married to Stella at a Catholic Church in Onitsha at the age of 19. Their union produced a child.

According to the 62-year-old veteran, his first marriage crashed because he was underage when his mother got him a wife.

Hours after that tweet, many people have been wanting to know what happened.

However, the veteran has dropped another Tweet to explained what he meant the initial Tweet. He revealed that his marriage was doing well but his Tweet was to advice some people having issues with their marriage. The Tweet goes thus:

"Because of dis my recent post. Some winche pple don begin speculate say my marriage don crash.

Abegi ooooo.

"I just dey talk to many pple wey think say marriage shouldn’t feel like work.  Or if it feels like work, we are doing it wrong.  Lie.

"Like anything else that is rewarding, we have to work at our marriages. And it’s OK if marriage is hard work!

"It can never be on auto drive."
