On Monday, there was an explosion incident that took place near the Redemption Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Trucks loaded with gas were said to have exploded within the premises of a plant, as depicted by videos trending on social media.
The plant is situated close to Mowe Bus Stop. Residents and, due to the explosion, passers-by had to scamper for safety.

The incident has been confirmed by Nosa Okunbor, the spokesman of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA). He added that responders are on their way to the scene.
