Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, declared that he would have given one of his daughters to the Afrobeats singer and son of Femi Kuti, Made Kuti if they were not married.
He said this, complimenting the singer on his Instagram page on Wednesday after meeting Made.
‘Area Fada,’ as called by some of his fans, said he was meeting Made, Femi’s son, for the first time and that he was “impressed” by his demeanour.
“My first time meeting and interacting with this young man, Femi’s son, Made. If my daughters never marry, I would have sent one of them to capture him,” he wrote.
“Made is a well-put together child by his father. I’m so impressed.”
In a follow-up post, Charles Oputa described Made as a very “special” person.
“I went to visit the Kuti’s today, had a great time, and met someone very special, Made Kuti. I love the Kuti’s,” he wrote.
“Baba Fela emboldened my sagacity, audacity, and consistency. I have nothing but mad love and respect for this great Nigerian family.”
Charly Boy went to Femi’s residence in the company of the presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Earlier, Femi Kuti had raised an alarm that some of Peter Obi’s fans had allegedly threatened to burn down the New Afrika Shrine for not being Obidient.

Reacting to the report, Femi said his words were taken out of context.
