2022 International Emmy Awards: Tunde Aina, StarTimes COO appointed as one of the jurors

As the world prepares for this year's International Emmy Awards, it came as a delight when Nigerian Tunde Aina was appointed as one of the jurors. Tunde Aina is an ace Media personality and Chief Operating Officer of StarTimes Nigeria.

According to Emmy, they select different people to be part of the jurors from over 60 countries and 500 companies from all television sectors, including the internet, mobile, technology and a wide range of cultural backgrounds. The selected individuals “represent current trends in world television programming.”

This is not the first time that a Nigerian will be selected as a juror. In fact, in 2015, Tunde Kelani, Mo Abudu and Kunle Afolayan were appointed to join the panel. The three of these International Emmy Awards are the three top Nigerian film and television executives to participate as jurors in the yearly event. 

Tunde Aina happens to be a veteran broadcaster and filmmaker with more than 26 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has experience in almost the entire television arts and sciences. In technical and creative aspects of television broadcasting and film, he functions seamlessly.
