Facebook allows you to share different things with your friends and family, from thoughts to photos and videos. However, you might be part of those worried about sharing specific details on Facebook that they don’t want some people to see. You might not want to block or unfriend such people, yet they also do not want them to see what they share. If you have a challenge and do not know what to do, read on.
Sharing on Facebook can be fun. Now, if you do not wish, everyone that is part of your Facebook contact should see your recent photos, videos, and status. Rather than deleting such contact or blocking them, add them to a restricted list. The list will help you trim who sees your posts and profile information.
Did you ask what the Facebook restricted list is? Well, you shall get to know shortly how to use it to keep some people from seeing what you share. Importantly, anyone you add to your Facebook restricted list will not be able to see some information, only public and profile information.
You can add someone to the restricted list by going to their profile, tapping on Friends > Edit friends list, and selecting Restricted.
About Facebook restricted list
The Facebook restricted list is a list in which you can add people you don’t want to see things you share other than public shares. For example, if you add your parent, boss, business partner, etc., as friends on Facebook but don’t want them to see your personal shares, then you can use the Facebook restricted list. Those you add to that list will not see your private post but only your public shares. Public shares are photos, videos, and posts you share with everyone on Facebook. You might not necessarily need to unfriend or block them on Facebook; restrict them.
