DJ Neptune — Rema, Omah Lay Have The Talent To Take Afrobeats To The Next Level

Nigerian disc jockey Neptune has praised Rema, Omah Lay and LoJay for being talented and hungry for success.

The versatile DJ spoke high of the trio during his chat with AudioMack. DJ Neptune noted that Rema, Omah Lay and other new generation artistes have unity among them.

He also stipulated that the unity and love among them, coupled with their talent, can be used as a force to take Afrobeats to the next level.  “They are hungry and I like that. There is also love and unity among them,” he said.

“They have the talent to take Afrobeats to the next level. We need to go together as a t. If we go together as a force, then it is easy for us to conquer the world together,” DJ Neptune added.

He also shared that “they came in at the right time when Afrobeats is really blowing up fast on the global level, so that means more money for them.”

Afrobeats is a music genre that has already been embraced in the global music scene. DJ Neptune opined DJs are saddled with the responsibility to sell Afrobeats right for it to keep growing worldwide.

In his word; “It’s on us to sell the culture right and the sound, especially now that Afrobeats is getting a lot of international exposure.”

He continued; “Black Coffee got a GRAMMY nomination—I won’t be surprised if in the next couple of years, we will be on that same level as well. You can’t rule these things out anymore. Our sound is fire right now. The world is feeling it.”

DJ Neptune disclosed that in his 20 years of being a DJ, he has stayed relevant because he is focused, hungry for success, professional and, above all, has God’s grace with him.
