President Muhammadu Buhari and ex-President Goodluck Jonathan |
Earlier today, we reported that President Muhammadu Buhari was meeting with ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in the State House, Abuja.
Details of the meeting has now been released by the President as he tweeted via his official Twitter handle, @MBuhari.
Buhari said; "Today I received a comprehensive report from the ECOWAS Special Envoy to Mali, former President @GEJonathan, on the political situation in the country. Regarding the way forward, we will ask the President of Niger, who is the Chairman of ECOWAS, to brief us as a group".

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was recently appointed as the head of the political reconciliation team in Mali by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
