Play Network Africa’s CEO, Charles Okpaleke has revealed that the remake of 1994 blockbuster, 'Glamour Girls' would require a 2-year production span.

‘Glamour Girls’ joins the production company’s increasing list of classic remakes following the box office success of ‘Living in Bondage Breaking Free’, the sequel of 1993 classic thriller, Living in Bondage, directed by Chris Obi-Rapu.
Play Network Africa announced that it had acquired rights to the Chika Onukwufor directed film, on December 12, 2019. Another classic billed for production is ‘Nneka The Pretty Serpent’, set for release this December.
Also worthy of note is that the Nollywood classic launched the careers of major Nollywood actresses including Eucharia Anunuobi, Ngozi Ezeonu among others. Glamour Girls tells the tale of four women to resort to high profile prostitution in order to lead more independent lives.
