Kogi Election: Police arrest killers of PDP women leader, Acheju Abuh, As Buhari’s aide reacts

Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Chairman, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has commended the Nigeria Police over the arrest of suspected killers of Mrs Acheju Abuh, PDP Women Leader in Kogi State.

Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who tasked the police to ensure that those arrested are made to face the wrath of the law said political violence should be condemned in Nigeria, Daily Post reports.

Mrs Abuh was killed shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced Governor Yahaya Bello winner of the just concluded governorship election in Kogi State.

The PDP women leader was attacked in her house and burnt alive by suspected thugs of the APC.

Abike via a Twitter tweet, wrote: “Kudos to the @PoliceNG for the arrest of some suspects in the death of the PDP women leader in Kogi. Imperative for the culprits to be found and justice is done. Political violence must not be tolerated. May her soul RIP.”
