Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has called the Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema a ‘liar.

The IPOB leader alleged that Onyema lied against him to please his Fulani masters.

The allegations were part of comments by the IPOB leader aired in a live broadcast on Sunday.

He was quoted as saying, ”People have asked me to clarify the visit of Allen Onyema to my house. I think what I said in my last broadcast may have led to his recent investigation for fraud.

Atiku arrives Abuja as he marks birthday

Former vice president and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last presidential election arrived in Nigeria in the early hours of Monday.

This was confirmed to THISDAY by his media aide, Paul Ibe.

According Mr. Ibe, the former vice president, l who had been out of the country for sometime, arrived in Abuja Monday morning.

“Tomorrow being Tuesday, he will visit Yola, Adamawa state to pay condolences to the family of his aide that died. Though, his aide has since been buried”, he said.

Today is also the birthday of the former vice president.

Peter Obi sends message to Atiku

The main opposition party's Vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the last general election, Mr. Peter Obi, has congratulated ex-Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, as he marks his 73rd birthday on Monday.

Obi in a Twitter post, personally signed, hailed Atiku as a ‘great leader and friend.

He wrote, ”A very happy birthday to a great leader and friend, @atiku

”You remain a beacon for selflessness and service. As you grow in age, so shall your strength. With best wishes.”
