Chelsea Gives Second Chance To Nigerian Victor Moses

Victor Moses, ex-super eagles star will get another chance to fight for a place in the new-look Chelsea side under the current coach and former team mate, Frank Lampard.

It has been reported that, Chelsea coach Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on recalling former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses from Fenerbahce in the January transfer window after former England midfielder approves his return to Stamford Bridge.

However, the return of Moses will give Lampard an extra dimension to what he currently offer in the ongoing season.

a 3-5-2 formation which was highly successful under Conte where Moses thrived as an energetic Right-Wing-Back as he combined his Skills and strength to great use on the right wing.


The ex-Nigeria international was fantastic under Antonio Conte as the Blues won the Premier League title in the 2016/17 campaign. Playing at right wing-back, he made 34 appearances in the league, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process.

Moses can also provide extra layer of cover as a full back to a leaking defence, which has conceded 11 goals this season.

Moses Moved out on loan to Turkish Super Lig side in early 2019, due to lack of first-team opportunities under former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

After signing up with the blues from Wigan Athletic, Victor Moses struggled to get a spot in the Chelsea squad and was sent out on loan to Liverpool, West Ham, and Stoke City before finding favour during Antonio Conte’s reign as coach.

Moses returned to Fenerbahce’s first-team training ahead of their Super Lig clash against Denizlispor on Sunday after recovering from a strain muscle injury that he picked up in August.
