A Lady has been apprehended for stealing Plasma TV which belongs to a hotel she lodged with her boyfriend.
The lady identified as Laurenta lodged in Kevelyn Hotel in Delta state with her boyfriend. They lodged in the hotel for one week before committing the act.
She was seen leaving the hotel room with a ‘Ghana Must Go Bag’ which had the TV inside but told the receptionist that her boyfriend was retaining the room.
It was also learnt that her boyfriend stole the hotel’s towel, umbrella and key, leaving 3 hours after the exit of the boyfriend with the claim of buying something outside the hotel.
Her facebook reads:
Laurenta was later traced to her sister’s house by the hotel management who figured out that she had earlier been subjected to mob action for stealing N800,000 from a guy she slept with.
The matter has been charged to court and she was almost jailed alongside her boyfriend. Laurenta, however, confessed to the crime when dragged to the hotel and she reportedly said she used the TV to get a loan of 5K. The TV has been recovered from the men who lend her the money.
