What does Cancer season mean for your sign?
Cancer is a water sign, which means it's fluid and constantly moving (like, ya know, water), Page explains. During Cancer season, youre more likely to waver between whats happening in reality and whats going down in your imagination. Basically, it's prime time for some emotional flip-flopping. (Fun!)
First, the good stuff: Cancer season has a heavy focus on surrounding yourself with loved ones. "Its super strong for wanting to connect with friends and family," Page says. Suddenly, you might have a craving for an old-school trip to the lake with your fam or a special night with just the girls. Whatever it is, spending time with the people you love will help you feel blissed-out and recharge your batteries.
Still, since this is an emotional time, some pretty intense stuff can follow those warm and fuzzy feels. "Theres a big dream energy thats very powerful," Page explains. "Youll have a deep desire to have the ideal life. Youll want more opportunities and wonder why theyre not there." That can make you feel frustrated AF when everything you've dreamed up doesn't just magically happen.
Unfortunately, Page says this can seep into all areas of your life-relationships, career, living situation, etc. "Sometimes it can stir up resentment, jealousy, or frustration that its taking effort or work to get what you want," she cautions. (Deep breaths, y'all.)
These feelings shower down for everyone, but Page says Cancer, Gemini, and Capricorn will feel this season the strongest.
How will Cancer season affect the rest of your year?
It kinda depends on how you react to the urges you have during Cancer season. More than anything else, it's an awesome time to tighten your bonds with the people you love and wrap yourself in all the warm-fuzzy feelings that come with that.
But if you get bogged down with focusing on what you dont have in life, you could end up phoning it in at work or picking fights with your S.O.-and that won't lead to anything good.
Instead, try channeling that frustration into motivation (think Elle Woods' study montage in Legally Blonde), like looking for a new job or talking with your partner about whats **actually** pissing you off. By putting in the #werk, you can actually come out the other side a better, more fulfilled person. Or, at least, thats the goal. Why not go for it with everything ya got?
