Stop Dragging Military Into Politics, Yobe PDP Tell Gov. Gaidam

Alhaji Adamu Mohammad Rama, the Deputy Chairman of Yobe State Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) ,  has called on Governor Ibrahim Gaidam to stop dragging the military into the murky waters of politics.

The Deputy Chairman made the call in a statement while reacting to a report in which the governor accused the military of helping to rig the 2015 elections in some parts of the state.

According to him, the governor’s claim was not only untrue but unfortunate, Daily Post reports.

He asked: “If his claims were true, why didn’t his party go to court to challenge the results? Why is Gaidam making these claims now?”

According to Alhaji Rama, Geidam is merely making empty threats that will not change the choice of the electorates for the 2019 general elections.
