Dr. Uzor Orji Kalu, the former Governor of Abia State, has disclosed what he discussed with President Muhammadu Buhari before he (Kalu) decided to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to Uzor Kalu, who is now a chieftain of the APC, President Buhari had promised to start and complete some projects in the South East.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, the former Governor expressed gladness that Buhari has gone far in fulfilling the promises.
He wrote, “I met President @MBuhari a week before I joined the APC @OfficialAPCNg precisely on 8th of November, we catalogued the new Niger Bridge, Port Harcourt/Enugu/Umuahia Express Road; Enugu/Awka/ Onitsha Express road; Nitemile to Makurdi road.
“Okigwe/Arondizogu to road; Ohafia/Arochukwu and today they are under construction while some are nearing completion.“I am glad that @MBuhari has resolutely pursued the completion of these and other projects across the nation.”
