Pussy Riot has claimed responsibility for the four pitch invaders during the World Cup final in Russia today, 15th of July, 2018.

Pussy Riot is a Russian feminist protest punk rock group based in Moscow. It was founded in August 2011, and it had a variable membership of approximately 11 women ranging in age from about 20 to 33 years.

There had been general condemnation of the act as it posed serious danger to the players and the integrity of the tournament in general.
