Protesters took over the major roads in Ilorin, Kwara state today as supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari called for the resignation of Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Senate President.
According to PoliticsNGR, the director general of the Yaman Support group, Hon George O. Towoju, revealed that Saraki and his cohorts have continued to embark on an unworthy political negotiations which has mortgaged the genuine interest of the masses for their personal and individual gains.
The protesters who were majorly supporters of a Kwara state Governorship aspirant, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi asked Saraki to make his political party membership known to Nigerians and resign his appointment as the Senate President with immediate effect in order to allow for better legislative process in the interest of the masses.
