Former PDP Spokesperson, Dayo Adeyeye Makes A U-Turn; Decamps To APC

Prince Dayo Adeyeye, a former candidate of the People's Democratic Party in the recently concluded PDP governorship primary election in Ekiti State, has made a u-turn on his word as he defects to the All Progressives Congress APC.

It could be recalled that Adeyeye was a former Spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party and there had been speculations about his plans to decamp to the APC, as soon as he lost the primary ticket of the PDP, for the governorship election in the in July, 2018,  but he denied the rumours.

Recall, that when he was asked about his intention to join the APC, Adeyeye said:

“Who told you that? Okay, Yes, i was in Abeokuta but it was a private visit. I will never join the APC. I have not decided on which party to join for now but definitely not APC” he had said.

In a twist of events, the former Minister of State for ‎Works has made a u-turn and stated that he left the PDP in a bid to align with APC and its candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, to rescue Ekiti.

However many observers had said that, "most of our politicians are political prostitutes, who goes to where they can only have favour, no more political integrity and ideology among them".
