Man Rescued From 150 Ft Deep Well In Igando Community

An artisan in a community in Igando area of Lagos was rescued from the shadows of death by the officials of the Lagos State Fire Service , on Monday, February 12, 2018, after falling inside the well he was working in.

The officials of the Lagos State Fire Service, rescued the victim identified as Billiaminu Abdullahi, from the well at about 2:00 pm after he fell inside.

The victim is a local artisan, engaged to dig the well and accidentally fell inside it and was  trapped. 

Commenting on the incident, the Public Affairs Officer of the Fire Service, Bola Ajao, confirmed the rescue operations, and disclosed that Officers of the Fire Service responded to the distress call at about 2:00 pm from the Ikotun Fire Service Station. 

Ajao stressed that the Service promptly mobilized to the scene to rescue the victim who was already battling for life inside the well.
