A combative Rulers man shot and killed the 34-year-old mother of his infant child after the couple had a battle early Sunday, cops said.

The sweetheart, 31, impacted Luz Cuza in the head outside her home on 147th St. close to 133rd Pkwy. in Jamaica at around 2 a.m., as indicated by police. She was taken to Jamaica Healing center, where specialists attempted futile to spare her.

Cops grabbed the beau, recognized by sources as Robert Rodriguez, a brief span later at 115th Pkwy. what's more, 225th St. in Cambria Statures. They recuperated a .40-gauge gun, experts said.

Suspect Robert Rodriguez is accused of murder, criminal ownership of a weapon, criminal ownership of a controlled substance and criminal ownership of weed. His arraignment was pending early Monday.

Cuza's sibling, Beam Garcia, was at home with his sister when the crazed beau pulled the trigger. He said the couple had been contending that night.

"I didn't think he would hurt her since she just brought forth his child, similar to, two months prior," he said.

Garcia was in a different room when he listened to a shot ring. "When I go to the front, my sister is laying on the ground with her eye nearly flew out," he said. "She was wheezing for air."

"When I saw that, I knew the amount I adored my sister, since I began crying," Garcia reviewed, crushed.


"I stated, 'Don't stress, I'm going to spare you.' And I thumped on each neighbor's home, since I didn't have my telephone with me."

One of the neighbors had just called 911, however the beau had fled.

"He was leaving," Garcia said. "Furthermore, he vanished when the cops came."

Police got up to speed with Rodriguez, who functions as a stopping chaperon in Manhattan, before long..
