A NYPD officer blamed for striking a Coney Island man over a spilled drink is relied upon to confront criminal allegations Monday, sources said. 
Officer O'Keefe Thompson was at that point on changed obligation in the wake of his claimed conflict with Raymond Crespo on July 8.
