Nigerian content creator Sebili, whose real name is Jimoh Uthman Olamilekan and is also known as Itz Harji Snehrish, has ventured into movie production with his debut project, Sebili Mecho.
The film, released on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, marks the creator’s first production under his newly introduced platform, Sebili Originals. It is available exclusively on SebiliTV, his YouTube channel.
The project brings together a cast of Nigerian entertainers and performers, including Kemity, Rufai Bukky, Modupe, Nifepearl, Iya Habeeb, Enu Orofo, Bobodee Kng and Official Gbolarmighty.
Described as a comedic-dramatic Nigerian social media film, Sebili Mecho represents a new direction for Sebili, who is moving beyond content creation into the production of longer-form entertainment.
Sebili Ventures Into Movie Production
The release of Sebili Mecho signals Sebili’s entry into Nollywood-style filmmaking through a production created under Sebili Originals.
Known by his online identity, Itz Harji Snehrish, the content creator is using the project to extend his creative activities beyond the social media content that forms the foundation of his public profile.
The decision to produce a movie also provides an opportunity to explore storytelling through a different format. While short-form social media videos are often designed to deliver quick entertainment, a film offers more room to develop situations, introduce different characters and sustain a storyline.
With Sebili Mecho, Sebili is taking that step by bringing together several performers for a single production.
The film’s release is also an important moment for Sebili Originals, which serves as the platform under which the debut project has been presented. Its introduction suggests an interest in building a production identity around the creator’s entertainment activities.
Although detailed information about the company’s future projects has not been provided, the debut movie establishes a starting point for its film production efforts.
Kemity, Rufai Bukky, Others Feature In Film
One of the notable aspects of Sebili Mecho is its ensemble cast, which features several entertainers and social media personalities.
Kemity is among the performers appearing in the production, alongside Rufai Bukky, Modupe and Nifepearl. Other cast members include Iya Habeeb, Enu Orofo, Bobodee Kng and Official Gbolarmighty.
The lineup brings together different personalities from Nigeria’s entertainment and online content space, giving the film a broad mix of performers.
Their participation also reflects the growing relationship between social media entertainment and movie production. Content creators and online personalities increasingly use digital platforms to develop projects that bring their audiences into longer entertainment experiences.
For Sebili, assembling the cast for his first movie provides an opportunity to work with other entertainers while introducing his audience to a new type of production.
However, the available information does not provide a detailed breakdown of the characters played by the actors or the specific roles they have in the storyline.
A Blend Of Comedy And Drama
Sebili Mecho is presented as a comedic-dramatic Nigerian social media film, combining elements of humour and drama.
The genre allows the production to explore entertaining situations while incorporating moments that reflect everyday experiences. Comedy and drama are also familiar elements of Nigerian online entertainment, where creators often use relatable characters and situations to connect with viewers.
Although a detailed synopsis has not been released, the film’s classification gives audiences an idea of its general style.
The project also offers Sebili an opportunity to demonstrate his storytelling and production interests beyond the shorter videos associated with social media content creation.
As his first movie production, it marks an early step in translating his creative identity into a full-length screen project.
Where To Watch ‘Sebili Mecho’
Sebili Mecho premiered on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, and is available exclusively on SebiliTV’s YouTube channel.
Viewers interested in the production can access it through the channel, making the movie available online to audiences within and outside Nigeria.
Its digital release also follows the growing use of YouTube by Nigerian filmmakers and content creators to distribute productions directly to viewers.
With a cast featuring Kemity, Rufai Bukky, Modupe, Nifepearl, Iya Habeeb, Enu Orofo, Bobodee Kng and Official Gbolarmighty, the film introduces Sebili’s first major production effort under Sebili Originals.
For the creator, Sebili Mecho represents a move into a new area of entertainment, as he expands from social media content creation into filmmaking.
