Pastor Jimmy Odukoya has taken another step in his personal life, marrying again after spending several years single following the end of his previous marriage.
The Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, introduced his new wife to members of the congregation during a church service. The occasion also had Pastor Tunde Bakare of The Citadel Church in attendance, where he blessed the marriage.
The introduction took place at Fountain of Life Church, giving members of the congregation an opportunity to meet the woman who is now part of their pastor's family.
Jimmy's new marriage comes years after his relationship with his former wife, Oluwakemi, popularly known as Kemi Banjoko, came to an end. The two got married in London in March 2013 and have two children together.
Their marriage later ended in separation, but the circumstances surrounding their breakup have remained largely private. Neither the exact reasons for the separation nor details of any formal divorce proceedings have been publicly established.
The period surrounding their separation also coincided with significant changes in Jimmy's life and ministry. Following the de.ath of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, in 2023, he assumed leadership of Fountain of Life Church as its Senior Pastor.
Taking on the responsibility of leading the church marked an important period in his life, particularly as he continued to raise his two children while remaining unmarried.
For several years, Jimmy stayed single and did not rush into another marriage. His decision to marry again now marks a fresh beginning in his personal life.
Jimmy has officially begun this new chapter.
