Nollywood is set to welcome another family-focused production as Hyrish Studios prepares to release its upcoming movie, Mr and Mrs Jimoh, featuring an ensemble cast of established and emerging actors.
The film, produced by Hyrish Studios, is scheduled to premiere online through the studio’s official YouTube channel. The production team has been promoting the project ahead of its release, sharing teasers and behind-the-scenes content to introduce the movie to prospective viewers.
Among the actors featured in the production are Faithia Williams, Rotimi Salami, Bakare Zhainab, Vicky Adeboye, Eniola Afeez, Jidesodiq, Moji Afolayan and Hyrish The Big Deal.
The cast brings together performers with different backgrounds in the Nigerian film industry, raising anticipation among movie enthusiasts who follow their individual projects.
The production is directed by 9iceteefilms, while Hyrish Studios is responsible for bringing the project to the screen.
Although the production team has not disclosed extensive details about the storyline, the movie has been presented as a dramatic and entertaining family-focused feature.
An ensemble cast brings the project together
The inclusion of several familiar Nollywood faces is one of the notable features of Mr and Mrs Jimoh.
Faithia Williams, who is part of the cast, has built a career across Yoruba and English-language productions. Her involvement adds another recognisable name to the film’s line-up.
Rotimi Salami is also among the featured actors. The filmmaker and actor has appeared in several Nigerian productions, making him a familiar face to audiences who follow Nollywood films.
Other cast members include Bakare Zhainab, Vicky Adeboye and Eniola Afeez, who are also expected to contribute to the movie’s overall presentation.
Jidesodiq, Moji Afolayan and Hyrish The Big Deal complete the announced line-up.
The combination of these performers suggests that the production will rely on a broad cast to deliver its story. However, the individual characters they portray and how their roles connect within the narrative have not been revealed in the available promotional information.
The film’s title, Mr and Mrs Jimoh, places a married couple at the centre of its identity, although the producers have yet to provide a detailed description of the characters or the events that drive the story.
Hyrish Studios prepares for online premiere
Hyrish Studios is taking the production directly to online audiences, with the movie scheduled to debut on its YouTube channel.
The studio has been building awareness around the project through promotional materials released in October 2026. The teasers and behind-the-scenes footage offer viewers glimpses of the production process while introducing some of the actors involved.
The decision to release the film on YouTube also provides an opportunity for viewers to watch it without necessarily visiting a cinema.
Online distribution has become an important avenue for Nigerian filmmakers seeking to reach audiences beyond traditional cinema releases. YouTube, in particular, provides a platform through which producers can make their work accessible to viewers in different locations.
For Hyrish Studios, the release of Mr and Mrs Jimoh adds another feature project to its production activities. The studio’s promotional campaign is expected to keep the title in public attention as audiences await the full movie.
The director, 9iceteefilms, will oversee the film’s presentation, while the cast brings together the different performances required for the production.
Despite the limited storyline details released so far, the involvement of the actors has given the project visibility ahead of its online debut.
Movie lovers interested in the production can look out for further announcements from Hyrish Studios regarding its premiere date and additional promotional updates.
When released, Mr and Mrs Jimoh will be available to stream on the Hyrish Studios YouTube Channel.
