Nollywood filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has recorded another major milestone with her upcoming movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, after tickets for its London premiere sold out weeks before the event.

The highly anticipated screening is scheduled for November 29 at the prestigious Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London. The development comes ahead of the film's planned nationwide cinema release on December 11, 2026.

FilmOne Entertainment, the movie's distributor, announced the sold-out status on Thursday, November 5, through its official social media account.

The company celebrated the response from movie lovers and expressed appreciation to those who secured tickets for the premiere.

The announcement has generated excitement around the production, particularly as the London screening represents another opportunity to showcase Nigerian filmmaking to international audiences.

Funke Akindele had earlier unveiled plans for the UK premiere on November 2, describing the event as an important moment for Nigerian cinema. She announced the screening in collaboration with FilmOne Entertainment through her Instagram account.

The filmmaker subsequently revealed that the venue has a seating capacity of 791, thanking the cast, production crew and supporters who contributed to the project.

The Four: No One Fights Alone is produced by Funke Akindele Network, with FilmOne Entertainment responsible for its distribution.

The story follows four women whose friendship and loyalty are put to the test as they leave their community and travel to the city to secure a better future for a young man they love.

The production features an extensive cast drawn from different sections of the Nigerian entertainment industry. Among those appearing in the movie are Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Wunmi Toriola, Ronke Oshodi Oke and Antar Laniyan.

Musicians Waje and Shoday are also part of the project, adding to the film's diverse lineup.

The London premiere comes at a time when Funke Akindele continues to strengthen her position as one of Nollywood's commercially successful filmmakers.

Her recent productions have attracted considerable attention in cinemas, with A Tribe Called Judah and Everybody Loves Jenifa contributing to her growing box-office profile.

Her 2025 production, Behind The Scenes, also achieved a historic commercial feat after crossing N2 billion in cinema earnings, becoming the first Nollywood film to reach that figure.

The success of the London premiere ticket sales adds to the anticipation surrounding her latest project. With the international screening scheduled before its Nigerian release, attention will now turn to the film's reception among audiences in London and its eventual performance in cinemas across the country.

The December 11 release will give Nigerian moviegoers the opportunity to see whether The Four: No One Fights Alone can build on the commercial success of Funke Akindele's previous productions.
